How to Groom a Maltese Puppy Dog

The Maltese, with it’s signature silky, snow white coat, is one dog breed with a rigorous grooming regimen. Thorough brushing is a daily task if you want your Maltese to look it’s best, and bathing is also required more often than with some other low-maintenance breeds.
Unless you’re a whiz with scissors, you’ll need to take your Maltese to the groomers for a trim several times a year to keep that sleek look.

Maltese also need to have their eye area cleansed frequently to remove “tear stains”, and their ears cleaned with an acidifying cleanser to prevent and treat yeast infections of the ear.
