Here is a bit of information about our program and our puppies:
Each of our puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped,
spayed/neutered and very well socialized. For the first few weeks
they are in the nursery (right across the hall from the master
bedroom), then when the pups are about 3 weeks old they are moved out
into the living room. Here they are exposed to regular family noise
and activity. Once the puppies reach 6 weeks old, they get to go into
the puppy play pen in the sun room - this gives them more space to run
and play. Our kids, 5 and 3, are an excellent socialization team!
You can be sure that each puppy has had tons of one on one play time
with everyone in the family.
All of the parent dogs live with us as our family pets. They enjoy a
jog with my husband each morning and lots of playtime with the kids
and I during the day but their favorite is getting to come with us to
soccer practice because they love meeting all the people who want to
pet them! Our dogs are loved members of our family! Temperament and
health are very important to our breeding program so each of our
breeding dogs have passed extensive health testing and we provide each
of our puppy families with a 2 year health guarantee.
We take great pride in our socialization program. Our puppies have
been on car rides, are comfortable in their crate, they've met a cat,
they've been exposed to new people, new noises, new environments and
so much more.
We lay a great foundation for house training. The
puppies are used to "going" in a certain area since they were very
young, they're basically litter trained before they leave. For the
last few weeks that they're here, we take them outside multiple times
a day and encourage them to "go" outside.
The pups have all be socialized to their crate, we start this by
putting pups in the crates together and then slowly lower the number
of puppies per crate until they're each comfortable alone. For those
puppies who will be shipped to their new families, we prepare the pups
for this new adventure by placing their crates on the washing machine
so they can become accustomed to the stop and start motion that
they'll experience en route.
A lot of love, time and energy goes into each of our puppies. We want
to give them the best possible start in life. We send each of our
puppies home with food, toys, a vaccine record, a cloth smelling like
mom and a gorgeous dog bed. I cry when I see my puppies go, but I
know they are going to be loved and cared for by great families. We
provide our puppy families with support for the lifetime of their pet.

Labradoodle Breeders in Pennsylvania
We are happy to offer your family these great breeds. The Standard Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, and now Cock a poos. Ancestry along both parent lines is as hunters and water dogs. The physical appearance of the Goldendoodle/Labradoodle runs anywhere from a shaggy-looking retriever to a curl-relaxed poodle, but usually it falls somewhere in between. The length when left un-clipped grows to about 4-8 inches. The color of this litter will be varied, possible cream, black and chocolate. Our Goldendoodle have a Standard Poodle as a parent, and are standard sized. Like many poodle crosses, most Goldendoodle are light to non-shedding, and most live easily with families with MILD allergies. Families with moderate to severe allergies often find that Goldendoodle back crosses can work well.
The first generation f1 standard size Goldendoodle was the first to be bred. It is the product of a standard Poodle crossed with a Golden Retriever. Most first generation Goldendoodle either don't shed or shed lightly, and are compatible for most families with mild allergies.
Goldendoodle/Labradoodles are friendly towards children, other dogs and pets, and easy with strangers. They are social dogs, happiest when with people. Goldendoodle are likely to get into mischief and develop behavior problems if they spend most of their lives alone. Their intelligence, eagerness to please, and love of learning make them very easy to train.
Standard Goldendoodle are a medium to large sized dog about the size of a Standard Poodle, perhaps more robust.
Weight: Males 55-90 pounds. Females 45-65 pounds.
While the average Goldendoodle seems to be in the range of the above sizes, some have been known to grow to over 100 pounds. There can be a large difference in size of the pups. As a cross they grow healthier and live longer than either parent line. The only genetic diseases they can be prone to would be those shared by both the Goldendoodle and the Standard Poodle. No Major Concerns. Minor Concerns - CHD, PRA, VonWillebrand's, Elbow and patella disorders.
Suggested tests - hip, eye and vWD.
Goldendoodle require a moderate amount of exercise and their coats are generally low maintenance. They can live in the city or on a farm. They are social dogs and they are happiest when they are with people.
~ They were introduced in the late eighties. The primary reason the Poodle-Retriever mix was bred in the first place; in 1989, the Australian Guide Dog Association, a non-profit organization, was seeking a type of canine that feature a hypoallergenic coat and could be trained for use as a guide dog. However, it should be noted that NOT all of the cross-breeds have hypoallergenic coats, and such should NOT be assumed when purchasing any puppy. Coats vary in texture, and may be rough and wiry or very soft.
Cross-breed varieties have the reputation of being intelligent, loyal, and affectionate animals. Retriever-Poodle mixes are easily trained and very accepting of children, pets, and strangers; thus, they are not ideal guard dogs, but instead excel in a family setting.** Training must be consistent and the dogs intellect must also be catered to;
**IMPORTANT!... without regular outdoor walks, toys, play times, Goldendoodle/Labradoodle will often get into trouble because of their "starved" intellect. It is especially important to train the dog well within the First Year, >>correcting any negative habits before they become long-term<<.
Our ~Labradoodles ~ are in a family setting, our dogs are pet quality, not all our dogs are registered - puppies will be raised in our kitchen. House training is started using papers in their living area. We live in North Central PA, w/ eleven acres. As they begin food and water @ 4 weeks, we take our Labradoodle pups outside throughout the day approx. every two hours to help begin the house training. Our puppies are kept on papers in a clean environment for the rest of the day. They receive lots of attention from our five children - socialized with litter mates, mother and other family dogs until they are welcomed into your family. They are modestly priced for your family. $600.00-$750.00.
